What types of services are offered by HealthCasa?

HealthCasa offers appointments for a variety of services both in-home and at your offices. Our services include mobile Physiotherapy, mobile Registered Massage Therapy, mobile Chiropody and Foot Care, mobile Orthotics, Ergonomics Assessments in home or at work, in-home Hearing Tests & Hearing Aids, in-home Occupational Therapy and Home Safety Assessments.

We offer virtual appointments for Dietitians and for Mental Health Services with our Psychotherapists and Social Workers. 

Our most popular on-site services are in-office chair massage services and on-site RMT massage services.

What locations do you service?

We service most of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, York Region, Durham Region, Peel Region, Halton Region, Barrie Area.

Our virtual dietitian services are available across Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Our mobile registered massage therapy services are also currently available in Edmonton and Calgary, with more services available soon.

Are chair massages covered by RMT benefits?

Chair massages are provided by Certified Chair Massage Therapists, not Registered Massage Therapists, so they would not be covered by your employees’ RMT benefits.

Typically chair massages are employee-sponsored, meaning the employer pays for the services for their employees for wellness fairs, employee appreciation events, etc.

Will providing on-site services increase my plan premiums?

Not necessarily. While there may be a slight increase in your plan premiums, there are a plethora of benefits that you and your organization will reap as a result of offering convenient access to high quality healthcare services to your employees. 

You pay your employees' benefits whether they use them or not; make sure those benefits are used properly, so you get the most out of your benefits offering.
 
Unfortunately there are often some employees trying to 'stretch' their benefits by going to unscrupulous clinics and practitioners. By bringing the healthcare appointment to your office, you have better control over how your employees use their benefits.

What kind of space is required for these appointments?

Any small private or semi-private meeting room would work. (To give you an example of size requirements, a portable massage table has dimensions 73" L x 27" W when extended).

Does someone from my team need to set up and clean up?

NO! We bring all the equipment and materials needed for the appointment, set everything up and clean up when we're done!

What will this program cost me?

Nothing! HealthCasa does not charge the employer for on-site services such as RMT massage, physiotherapy or orthotics services. The appointments are covered by your employees' private insurance benefits.  We charge the employee AFTER their appointment and then send them a detailed receipt to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement.

For on-site chair massage events, we charge an hourly rate, per chair massage therapist.  Our rates are in line with other on-site wellness providers. Looking at the per-employee cost, you'll find our prices to be quite reasonable, especially considering the return on your investment.
